Private Session

Following the Introduction Session, the 10 Session PRIVATE Series is the best way to become familiar with Pilates movement vocabulary. This Series is recommended to all first time students to our Studio.

A 5 Session PRIVATE Series is recommended for first time students who need specific attention due to limitation, disease or recovering injury and intend to practice basic movements at home or for new students who want to effectively learn to use their Pilates video at home.

Those with special needs that require the teacher's full attention (i.e. limited range of motion, injuries or chronic pain) may require an ongoing PRIVATE Series.

The Studio books your SEMI-PRIVATE Session according to strength and limitations.

Semi-Private Session

This is a great Session for students who prefer an accelerated class, are in good physical condition and work more efficiently in a class dynamic. In the scope of the learning progression, SEMI-PRIVATE Sessions require mastery of Pilates basic form and intermediate movement vocabulary, hence it is recommended that students have solid understanding of the Method to attend.

  GYROKINESIS™ - The Essentials of Body Kinetics™
The system works the entire body through seven natural elements of spinal movement: forward, backward, left side, right side, left twist, right twist and circular, as well as all other joint articulation. This method systematically and gently works the joints and muscles through rhythmic and undulating exercises. Corresponding breathing patterns are integrated so the body’s internal organs are stimulated by each movement. Fluidity is the key. Postures are not held for long periods of time. Instead, postures are smoothly & harmoniously connected through the use of breath, making exercises appear and feel more like dance than traditional yoga.
