| Combining over 20 years experience in Pilates framing, professional dance training, teaching and leadership, Kristi Sesso creates a Pilates Teacher Training and Certification Program employing the original Pilates Method as set forth by The Pilates Studio of NYC and integrates background education and experience in varied physical training as well as an amalgamate of healing modalities. Teachers learn the specifics of a balanced workout, the methods of dealing with specific ages and limitations and the language one must use to motivate and teach clients. This Teacher Training is a comprehensive program enabling the practitioner to create a sensitive environment and specific program to achieve what the client needs and wants. The program gives each student the ability to teach the Pilates Method and bring people to a clearer understanding of being in their body, and to become a mentor to the general public in the area of alternative exercise and healing. |

| Different levels of Certification are offered. Phase I consists of Pilates Beginner Mat, Fundamentals and Pilates Intermediate Mat & Energy Balancing Workshops. Phase II completes Phase I and continues on to the full Reformer workout Beg-Advanced Levels. Phase I, II and III is a complete Full Studio Series which is a comprehensive training teaching each movement on all 5 pieces of apparatus, how movements on apparatus prepares the body for the mat work and how to create the perfect relationship and program with and for your client. It is our intention to have each candidate empowered to achieve personal as well as professional goals. If accepted, you will learn a repertoire of movements, concepts and principles of Joseph Pilates as well as integrated methods that contribute to communicating Pilates Method concepts to the general public. You will develop the eye and ability to recognize proper body mechanics and the methods to exchange this information with your clients. You will also understand the rationale behind giving specific movements to each individual. |
