| I have suffered fro the past twenty years with a severe circulation problem in both my hands and my toes. My fingers and/or toes would go numb, turn white or black and it would take forever to get the blood flowing again. The winter has always been the worst time of the year for me, but this is the first winter, in twenty-five years, that has been different.
I started using the Power Plate when Kristi moved into her new space and convinced me to try the Power Plate. I could not believe the improvement in my circulation, it has improved dramatically. I had only three episodes f Raynouds syndrome this winter instead of my usual thirty or forty episodes.
My Orthopedist was thrilled with the results from my latest Bone Density test. He said since I changed nothing in my daily routine except adding the Power Plate he attributed the improvements in my bone density to the Power Plate machine, but said the real test would take place after I have been using the Power Plate for a year. He even took me off my Osteoporosis medications. My Cardiologist was very happy with the improvement in my circulation in my hands and told me to keep working on my feet: he said he will be anxious to see the changes that occur in six to nine months. |

| “My sessions at Energy Balancing Pilates Studio truly address my needs as I am that day- both physically and emotionally. The sessions are never rote or ‘phoned in”. This integrated, highly individualized and sensitive approach supports me to learn in a safe, accepting environment. Once a skeptic of alternative approaches to physical fitness, I now am amazed by the results of this total experience and the impact it has on simple daily activities as well as my favorite sport – tennis” |

| “One simple change is all that is necessary to build a healthy lifestyle. This change must be ‘loved into being’ rather than ‘beating yourself up into the change’. A change that is loved into being is permanent – any other approach disappears and produces no long term results” |

| "Remember, stress is not a problem if you don't let it accumulate. The basics are essential: Eat when you are hungry; Drink water when you are thirsty; Urinate when you need to; and rest when you are tired; and exercise at least 3 times a week for 20 minutes. If you aren't attending to these basic needs don't kid yourself with delusions of personal mastery and peak performance because the stress will accumulate over time and undermine your health and demonstrate your need for yet a deeper wisdom." |

"When you train in Pilates you use your mind, your body, and your spirit all at the same time... all as one. Somewhere during my workouts the stresses of the day are lost, as in gone. I leave the studio feeling energized, not tired; centered not scattered... and taller."

"I work at my own pace. The workout is designed for me and by me. My teacher and I are partners. In the past with other kinds of weight training, I've either injured myself or my body would bulk up. With Pilates training, I get strengthened and stretched without the bulk. As a result of my training, my recovery after hip replacement surgery was easier and quicker than even the hospital staff had anticipated." |

"Throughout my pregnancy I've continued to feel strong and energetic, thanks to the strength in my lower body. I've even been able to maintain definition and muscle tone in my arms in spite of extra weight gain. My program was adapted and modified as the baby grew so I haven't had to stop exercising. Most importantly, my workouts have helped me cope with the changes in my body. I feel like I can look great and be pregnant at the same time."
